"No information found for item" when using FTP as media source

Hi all!

I am having difficulties with setting FTP as media file source for my OSMC running on Kodi.
I am able to add FTP as file source, and play files from it without any problem, but when I try to use remote FTP folder as source for OSMC library media from the source just won’t get added to library. When I check log to see what is going I can see, that OSMC located files in that directory, but was unable to gather info about them, which makes adding them to library impossible.
Exact log extract is as follows:

16:38:28 1807.925537 T:1439691760 NOTICE: VideoInfoScanner: Starting scan …
16:38:29 1808.651245 T:1439691760 WARNING: No information found for item ‘ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@MY_FTP:21/pobrane/seriale/Westworld.S01E07.720p.HDTV.x264-AVS[rarbg]/’, it won’t be added to the library.

16:38:30 1810.215942 T:1439691760 NOTICE: VideoInfoScanner: Finished scan. Scanning for video info took 00:02

Why is that, and how to fix it?

I think You mean Kodi running on OSMC

As for your question: check the file name conventions in Kodi: http://kodi.wiki/view/naming_video_files/TV_shows

I obviously ment OSMC running on my RPi, but was already thinking what to write next, so I mixed it up :stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks for the info about file naming - I forgot, that show episodes must be placed in separate directories, my bad
