No longer able to run certain Add-ons

I suspect I may have some kind of file system error going on (I have had some power main losses to the house).

== The issue you are currently experiencing with OSMC
Certain add-ons (Bandcamp, Crackle) and my screensavers (Kaster) no longer work. The add-ons error out and tell me to check the log. Kaster no longer activates even from the Preview option in the screensaver menu. Content from the NAS plays fine.

== What you were doing when this issue occurred
I replicated the error by first enabling debugging and rebooting twice, and then tried to get the add-ons to pull content. Both start and I can successfully click in one level. For example, in Bandcamp I get to the initial screen that has Discover, Search, etc. but selecting anything from this page errors out with the debug message. I can, however, successfully start the Soma.fm add-on and play content.

== The device you are currently running OSMC on
Running a Vero 4K + (since ~2022) connected via ethernet . Previously, I was running on Pi 3b.

== What peripherals are attached to the device?
I have a NAS (also wired ethernet) and PiHole (two instances, one on my old Pi 3b and one on the NAS via Docker). Vero connected to Yamaha receiver, which is in turn connected to a Samsung TV.

== Has this issue been introduced by a new version of OSMC? When did the issue first appear and can you recall a time when it was not present?
I do not believe my issues have anything to do with OSMC upgrades. I have had issues with my screen saver (Kaster) for ~6 months. The add-ons started within the past week.

After the two reboots, I tried: (1) Bandcamp (failed), (2) Crackle (failed) , and then (3) Soma.fm (worked).

I will be traveling this week and am likely to be slow to respond to questions.

Have you checked if these add-ons are still supported?

From Bandcamp I can see 404 (not found errors); so I am not sure if the API endpoints possibly changed and you’re running an old version or if it’s supported at all.

I checked Bandcamp and the last release was Aug 2024 (latest-version=0.5.1+matrix.1). The update was, “Resolved 403 forbidden error when accessing bandcamp API.” Perhaps this means it is still supported?

Crackle may not be supported on Vero anymore. I see the repository lists “2023.10.11+matrix.1 April 06, 2024” as the current version, but when I click through to the source code the readme says, “Only on Android Devices.” It used to run fine on my Vero.

I also have periodic issues with screen savers not activating, even Dim. Sometimes they work, sometimes not.

Any chance I have a file corruption issue? Is there a way to reinstall/refresh the files or run a checksum? Or how about a full clean install? Thanks,

Thanks for the link. I did the reinstall on Sunday and it was relatively smooth. (As a byproduct, I now know the USB device my PC was complaining about losing connection with…the SD card reader! Ugh, had to use my ancient PC to write the card.)

As an aside, I had one issue with the restore: the fstab file didn’t restore. I don’t know if it is part of the backup.

Did this fix my problems? Well, the add-ons are having the same issues (likely not supported as you suggested) but my system seems a bit better, with the screensaver kicking off again. The screensaver issue was intermittent so it is hard to say.

I greatly appreciate your help.
