No MVC output

Hello!

I got today my Vero 4K+ and re-installed OSMV (March-Version) :
osmc@osmc:~$ grep VERSION_ID /etc/os-release
VERSION_ID=“2020.03-1”
osmc@osmc:~$ grep Kodi .kodi/temp/kodi.log | head -3
2020-06-16 19:25:31.579 T:4070678528 NOTICE: Starting Kodi (18.6). Platform: Linux ARM (Thumb) 32-bit
2020-06-16 19:25:31.579 T:4070678528 NOTICE: Using Release Kodi x32 build (version for Vero)

Unfortunately i get no MVC output. In the settings / player section i have already set “Payback mode of stereoscopic 3D Videos” to “Preferred Mode”. Cables, AVR and projector are fine, when i exchange the Vero with a LibreELEC@RasPi3 (same settings) i get MVC output.

Although i have re-installed the March-Version i have also tried the reinstall command, but it dont work:
osmc@osmc:~$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall vero3-mediacenter-osmc=18.6.0-13 Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
E: Version ‘18.6.0-13’ for ‘vero3-mediacenter-osmc’ was not found

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Did you add the 4.9 repository? APT won’t be able to find that build unless you do.

Thanks for your quick response!

No, i have installed no repository. How Do i install it, via addons or command line?

But it is necessary? I have installed OSMC’s March version with Kodi 18.6

3D support is still considered experimental and as such is not in the mainline release. To install the test build you will have to follow the instructions as laid out in the test thread [here] (which involves using the command line).

I think where you are getting confused is with the posts about people in the test thread having to downgrade to the 18.6 3D TEST BUILD from 18.7 mainline, which is different than the 18.6 mainline release which is what you would be currently on.

Thats it! Finally i have 3D video and audio  Thank you, great device and support!
