Not playing all mp3's

Kodi can’t find/play some “Mp3’s” since the last updates, but they exist! WIndows7 can play them and earlier OSMC-Versions too.
Also the files are shown in the Album but unplayable.
I haven‘t found any reasons…

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

Thanks to JimKnopf & Sam
and also to Google,
i’ve found one of the problems.
Windows and Android don’t worry about the missing bitrate in some mp3 files.
The logfiles are very helpful (more than 2600 pages😃) but the

ERROR: CAudioDecoder: Unable to Init Codec while loading file musicdb…

was the sign!
I also found a great tool to fix it in 2 steps its called “Mp3val”

  1. Scan all or selected files/folder
  2. Repair all or selcted files…ready.

[MP3val download | SourceForge.net]

Not all problems are fixed, of course, i don’t know, why Kodi kills the bitrate-info in some MP3 files. The original mirror HD is already fine and the bitrate in these files isn’t lost)
