Nothing but rectangle arc color after installing OSMC on RP2

tried different SD cards,
tried to install from MAC and PC
same result:
TV displays colored rectangle

any ideas ?

Are you certain you have installed the Rpi2 image and not the Rpi1?

I downloaded my version from the Pi site is there a better site to choose from? I’m using OS X.

I used sd formatter to fix that with some sd cards. it also happened, when the img downloaded incorrectly with the installer(connection was problematic)
