OMSC Update failed - log included

Hey all,
Judt tried to update my osmc on my RPI 2 but it failed

No clear update error is visible in your logs. Try either of the three:

  1. Try update from command line sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
  2. Enable debugging and upload logs again
  3. Remove your addons and choose default skin and try to update then

gonna try the command “sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade” now, i will return with how it did go :smiley:

okay well, the command “sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade” works everytime but for some reason when i want to update kodi i always have to use the command “sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade”

Not sure what you mean by that ? That is the correct command to update via the command line.

Yes but but, when ever i update via the OSMC menu it Will not work! I allways have to SSH into my RPI and then use the command!

Never mind, i freshly installer OSMC on it :slight_smile:

Is it recommended to update via OSMC menu or SSH? Any difference?
