I have the “create backup” enabled to a network share when an update is done.
The way OSMC actually does that is to always create a backup when the update check is preformed not only when there is an update to do.
Would be nice to only create a backup when there is an update pending.

Honestly same, Sorry the osmc developers did not take notice in your post. Mine is still pending too. I doubt they would check my post tho.
