I don’t think you can relate an issue with OpenSubtitles addon to OSMC.
OpenSubtitles is sketchy, it regularly does not work or throws an error, usually due to server or site issues on opensubtitles.org. You should always install multiple subtitle addons to fall back on, in my case Subscene and Subscenter (randomly chosen a while back).
The chance all three will go offline at a certain moment is extremely small.

If you think there is an issue with the addon, you should post it in the correct forum (KODI addons forum ofcourse). Definitely not here.

Judging by this, looks like an opensubtitles problem.

thanks for reply… it is strange why the first search and download work normally and the 2nd doesnt work…

Buggy addon, or the addon is having trouble communicating with the server that it connects to - either way you’d need to follow that up with the addon author.

please where or how can i contact kodi addon maker?

The kodi forum has a section for addon support. Here is the subtitles section:

BTW I immediately spotted this thread:

http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=237562

yeah, i have my credentials there, so there will be issue not

so, it looks like one day issue, today its working normally… thanks for all answers
