OSMC 2015.10.1 not seeing Sony TV remote after performing power cycle

After yesterdays issues with the the OSMC November update I decided to resinstall my OSMC using the 2015.10.1 update and then to request the corrected November build via Manual update.

I power cycled my Sony Bravia TV just to be sure and when the OSMC completes the software load and I get to the OSMC Language selection screen, the remote is now not being seen. I can see the Sony TV light flashing every time I press the remote but OSMC does not respond?

Should I just wait until the November build is available directly on the OSMC site and then redo the installation?

OSMC was working with my remote until this point wih no issues.

Can you grab the logs via ssh/scp ?

Try pulling the power from the pi, powering up the telly then powering up the pi.

No keyboard to connect to the Rasberry Pi I am using but could do that tomorrow evening?

Why would you need a keyboard on the pi to connect over SSH or SCP ?
