OSMC blue splash screen then black (Problem 1)

Setup:

I have a working Raspberry Pi Model 3 (B+ ?) successfully running. The main role of this machine is as a samba file server but I want to be able to use it as a kodi media player.

I can’t display output via HDMI (more detail below) so currently working using ssh and command line to access the machine.

There are three hard disks attached via usb and grouped into a single logical volume, shared using DLNA and samba.

I can access the audio and video folders and files on the OSMC over the local network using VLC or another kodi machine as the client

/usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin -v : Kodi Media Center 21.1

Problem

This is probably the result of some change I made but now I can’t remember what I did.

When I power up the RPI3 attached via HDMI to a monitor, I see one line of text for less than half a second. Then the OSMC blue logo displays screen for a few seconds. Then the display goes black. I haven’t been able to drop into command line by entering CTL-ALT-F1 or CTL-ALT-backspace or other variations on the keyboard.

As I write above, the RPI3 functions fine as a samba file server and a DLNA server but I can’t work out how to get the OSMC/Kodi screen to display.

Any ideas how to get OSMC to display over HDMI?

Log file shared via Google as do not have access to OSMC pastebin because of display issue:

Log file

As you have access via ssh just run grab-logs -A and share URL

I have run grab-logs -A twice and received the same, following error both time, which is why I copied the content of the log file into a txt file on my Google drive account and created and shared a link in the original post to that file - that contains the log information

Exception Details:

Traceback (most recent call last):

Exception: Log file too large for upload

Failed to upload log files, copying to /boot instead. (Unable to verify)

Reboot twice, then use the command again
