Girlfriend went to go watch tv shows, hit the “exit” button on the remote and the device froze.
I did a systemctl stop / start mediacenter, did not fix.
Tried to reboot. Also did not fix. Gets to OSMC splash screen, then goes black.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. 
Don’t know what caused the problem, but I did a full system restore and now its working well. The logs didn’t strike me as anything crazy wrong either but I’m not good at reading them.
You may want to consider a new SD card as your current one could be failing.
Funny you should mention that. I’ve been working through a lot of different chips lately (Setting up Home Assistant on a different Pi) and I think I had them crossed at some point. The one I pulled out turned out to be a class 4 card. I found a new class 10 card and did the system restore using that one.
Did anything stand out to you that made you think it was failing, or just a guess based on the problem description?
