OSMC constantly crashing since July update

Since the most recent update, I’ve been getting the sad face screen constantly, and without consistent reasons. Sometimes it will crash immediately after startup. Sometimes it will crash when about to load a video. Sometimes it will crash when My OSMC is opened. It often crashes while trying to update.

As recommended here: Vero 4k contantly crashing after July'18 update - #3 by dillthedog
I went to uninstall network-manager - but it wasn’t installed in the first place.

Sometimes the machine freezes after the sad face. Sometimes it reboots. The reboot process has also frozen after turning on debugging. A number of processes, including unmounting /boot, have also failed. Would love to know what’s going on.

Your log upload didn’t work. Suggest to try again from command line with grab-logs -A. If that is not working than first review with grab-logs -A -P

I’d guess that your SD card has given up. Backup your /home/osmc/.kodi directory and do a fresh in stall on a new SD card.

Thanks, just uploaded a new log: http://paste.osmc.tv/pohifefimi - updated the main post above as well.

This is most likely the sad truth. Will see if there’s anything to contradict that in the log and go from there.

I didn’t see any crash in the logs you posted. Before trying a new SD card, you could try to reset your Kodi settings:

sudo systemctl stop mediacenter
mv .kodi .kodi.save
sudo systemctl start mediacenter

If Kodi doesn’t crash, then it’s a config problem. If it still does, probably SD card problem.

Apologies for the radio silence. I wasn’t able to log in with my username and password anymore, and decided to just completely wipe the card and start again. If I still have issues, I’ll check the SD card and update.
