OSMC Crashing when opening videos

My OSMC crashes giving a :frowning: about 50% of the time when starting to watch videos.

The Error is not specific to a certain video and I have previously turned down the overclock settings as mentioned in another fix to no result. I’m on a Raspberry Pi 3.

I have output the log file but can’t seem to paste it here

You need to put the url here where the log was uploaded.

You need to upload debug enabled logs. Also what does “crash” means? Sad Smiley coming up or just a restart?

When you select a video it will show the working symbol/ message in the bottom right as normal. This is followed by a :frowning: over the screen for several seconds. after the frowny face OSMC does a full reboot and every thing appears to be normal. The issue is repeatable with a large variety of videos and has been occurring for since I started a fresh OSMC on a new Pi3 (upgraded from Pi2).

Please follow the posted instructions for providing a complete set of logs. Much more relevant info can be obtained when we are able to see the whole picture.

Disable ADSP - it is broken and causes playback to crash.

I happen to have the exact same problem and disabling ADSP did the trick.

Thanks!
