Hi
I did did download the image from :slight_smile:osmc image link rpi2

buring the image to the sd card (ubuntu ) gnome-disk.
I am ending up with 2 partitions on an 8 gb card but filesytem is empty.

what am I missing?

thx

The filesystem is in filesystem.tar.xz. Is that missing?

Did you boot the system and let the installer create the partitions?

looks like this is missing

do you have the link for filesystem.tar.xz?

found it here.
http://mirrors.mit.edu/osmc/osmc/download/filesystems/

just to untar to partoition?

Just boot the system normally and it will partition everything for you.

but the system is not booting with the image file for me?
nothing is hapening?

Can you mount the SD card and ls the contents?

yes mounted on ubuntu computer

ls
    ls

Are you sure you aren’t using a Rpi B as opposed to a B 2/3?

How are you powering the device?

Hi

it is a rpi 2 model b v 1.1

But had osmc running on it already.

same powerdevice.

Do I need to use a differrent image?

normal debian stretch running with samehardware config

I am confused
