OSMC installer on Debian

I am running Debian Wheezy XFCE 32 bit and the installer of OSMC is very slow. The moment I get to the network
page the installer freezes for up to 5 or 8 minutes before continue? Same at the end when finalizing the SD-card.
I tried a fresh install of Debian but no luck.
Any thoughts?

Finalising SD card takes some time as it is flushing buffers (likely writeback is on).

A log would be useful (check your home directory)

Enclosed logfile. I edited the links to the various download pages as only 2 links are allowed in my post!

It looks like everything completed fine, so I’m not sure why it was slow. I’ll keep an eye out

Sam

Just for fun I installed Open Suse and there the installer works like a charm.
Does the installer for Debian check for dependencies?

Yes, but those dependencies may not be right.

That said, if they were wrong, the installer would not launch at all

What are the dependencies?
