Osmc official remote control doesn’t work

Hi,
I have osmc on rpi3. Bought a new official osmc remote control. Can’t get it working. The blue light inside the remote is on, blinks when I hold OK button but no response on the screen. Looks like a pairing problem. Any instructions?

Replace vero with pi in the article.
