OSMC - Raspberry Pi 4 do not shut down

Hello,
I tried 3 times to install fresh OSMC on my raspberry pi 4, all is very beautyfull etc… but when i try to shut it down from “Power” menu, then “Shut down”, the video go black (like osmc is turned off) but raspberry pi remain still powered on, with fan rotating atc…

do you know if is there a way to really shut down the pi 4 when i push shut down command inside osmc?
thanks

I assume the OS shutdown but the Pi doesn’t have a physical off status which means the power lines are still providing power. Is the fan a controlled one otherwise you might only be able to solve this issue with additional hardware?

oh… so, yes sems that pi 4 do not have a physical off, i notice that also with debian installation in the past… powering off the OS does not powering off the pi 4.
this is a bad thing…
Nope, the fan is not controlled, this one is the stock black case of the raspberry pi 4. (buyed from amazon)

which addictional hardare you mean?
thanks.

oh…
a pcb board with addictional relay…
But could this control by “shut down” command from OSMC interface?

one problem for the IR board is that, you have to keep it visible in any case.
If i hide the board, the ir command will never reach the board…

Yes most of those solutions should react to a shutdown from the OS

The second solution has the IR separated should solve that problem while that one seems not software controlled

what a sadness… “We have closed down our shop permanently…” uff…
