I have a remote control that advances and I decided to connect it to xbox, but only the central cross works. I tried with keymap editor but it doesn’t detect input. Is it possible to operate the remote control on xbox?
What exactly gets transmitted by the dongle will vary depending on which version of the remote you have. Details can be found here…
If the keymap editor isn’t picking up a keyid for anything other than the direction buttons then you can’t keymap around that and I don’t know of anything you can do to to make it work.
