OSMC Remote on Raspberry Pi OS

Hi there,

I’d like to buy the OSMC Remote to use on Kodi installed via apt on Raspberry Pi OS on an RPi 4. As far as I understand it’s seen as a regular HID device, so it should work on this and any other OS like a keyboard, right? Given that I’d be using it for Kodi, do you think any key remapping is required? Has anyone done this?

It will work out of the box and we can send the evmap instructions over to make it work the same as on OSMC if you want an identical implementation.

You could also switch back from Raspbian / Raspberry Pi OS to OSMC soon enough.
