OSMC RPI2 - HDMI CEC with Sony KDL-40D3550

Hi,

I have a TV Sony KDL-40D3550
I’m using latest OSMC build 0.9.9
Currently the only thing that works with the HDMI CEC protocol is:

  1. Powerup RPi2 - Turn on TV
  2. PowerOFF TV - PowerOFF RPi2

The thing is that i can’t get the TV remote to work with Kodi i’m getting the following error:
21:21:20 T:1873216528 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - sending active source message for ‘Recorder 1’
21:21:20 T:1873216528 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << powering on ‘TV’ (0)
21:21:20 T:1873216528 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << 10:04
21:21:20 T:1873216528 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << Recorder 1 (1) -> broadcast (F): active source (2000)
21:21:20 T:1873216528 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << 1f:82:20:00
21:21:20 T:1873216528 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << Recorder 1 (1) -> TV (0): menu state ‘activated’
21:21:20 T:1873216528 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - ‘menu status’ is marked as unsupported feature for device 'TV’

Anyone knows what should i do to fix it (if i can)

Thanks in advance,
Alik.

Have you been into the TV menus and searched for CEC devices and forced it to scan for devices ?

Yes tried it no luck

Maybe your TV set does not implement all CEC functions but only a subset.

On the manual you can read:

HDMI control functions
• Turns the connected equipment off interlocked with the TV.
• Turns the TV on interlocked with the connected equipment and automatically switches the input to the equipment when the equipment starts to play.
• If you turn on a connected audio system while the TV is on, the input switches to the audio from the audio system.
• Adjusts the volume and mutes the sound of a connected audio system.
