OSMC running slow on Raspberry Pi B+

Hello Team,

I recently Installed OSMC on my Raspberry Pi B+ to use it as Media Center. It’s installed properly and i was able to browse and add Addons. But the system is running very slow. It’s taking time to browse the options and loading.
I am not familiar with coding stuff and haven’t changed any setting to slow the device.

My question is, OSMC cannot be installed/run in Raspberry Pi B+ models? If not, Can someone help with to resolve the issue please?

OSMC can be run on a Pi 1.
But “slow” is a relative term, can you give some measurements eg how long a menu change takes
