I recently configured git on my raspberry pi 2 running OSMC and have setup a new branch in git for testing addons. Everything was working fine until I tried changing the home screen shortcuts around (from Appearances > Skin > OSMC > Settings) . At first I started getting an error message that the skin couldn’t be loaded and that log files where uploaded to kodi logs uploader (http://xbmclogs.com/p6bbowhn2).
I did some searching around the forum and was only able to find this article (https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/skin-shortcuts-error-after-update/7002/8) that was slightly the same problems as mine but it wasn’t an update that started the problem. I ran the code Sam recommended and the error message stop pop up but now it keeps running the skin builder. After skin builder finishes running it stops for about 5 seconds and then starts running again. I have tried restarting the unit but as soon as it boots back up skin builder starts up again. I’ve been looking around for a solution but have not been able to find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
