Well if only issues are around Kodi you might want to start with a clean Kodi.
sudo systemctl stop mediacenter
mv .kodi .kodi_backup
sudo systemctl start mediacenter

Is this a valid way to start over without reinstalling Kodi19 but without the add-ons that are having problems?
So the Kodi settings may be kept meanwhile?
