OSMC Skin on CoreELEC reboot option

Hi guys! Because I love the OSMC Skin but have been using CoreELEC on my Ugoos android device, I have a small request that myself and many others would benefit from. The stock CoreELEC version of estuary skin has a crucial reboot to nand option in the reboot menu. I was hoping this could either be easily implemented into the OSMC Skin. Even if you guys could point me towards an easy tutorial to implement it myself? It’s greatly needed and appreciated!! Thanks

As this isn’t a feature on OSMC or other Kodi platforms, it’s not something we would implement. It would require conditional logic and we wouldn’t know under which conditions we should even display such a prompt.

I’m glad you are enjoying the OSMC skin however.
Perhaps whomever made the modifications to the Estuary skin in CoreELEC could advise you on how to make the necessary changes.

I think this is how it is implemented but I’m not entirely up to speed with this kind of thing…

I think you can make the same change to the OSMC Skin then.

We make the skin available to other devices but intend to do so in a platform agnostic manner

I tried to ask on the CoreELEC forum but to be quite honest it wouldn’t even let me post the four letters OSMC so I’m not sure how much help I’m going to get from them lol

Oh dear…

That’s hilarious!

I use the OSMC skin on my AM6B+ with CoerELEC CPM A14 and it works great, but anything specific to builds will be out of the scope for the OSMC Skin dev.
Certain features like settings/system/CoreELEC work fine.
I never use the “Reboot from eMMC/NAND” option ever, I’m guessing you do to go to Android for streaming platforms.
Another option that might work for you is mapping that command to an unused remote button?

Some would say hilarious but I’d just say it’s sad

I thought I’d leave this link here for anybody in future Sam, delete this comment if not allowed. It’s an installable video add-on that’s only purpose is to reboot to android. May help somebody in future…

It’s allowed, but we can’t offer any support guarantees for third party add-ons or ensure its future availability.

And Vero doesn’t have Android to reboot to anyway…
