Really like the OSMC skin but one feature that is missing that I’d like to see is the inclusion of file format / video resolution / audio codec displayed when the file is selected.
I realise this can be overcome by switching to another skin but is this kind of ino likely to be included in the skin in the future? Or is it there already and I just need to enable it?
There is a standard way of displaying the info in Kodi, and it works in the OSMC skin. The method used depends on the way you control the system, but there are standard keyboard keys to turn this sort of stuff on/off (O for the codec info) while the file is playing.
I don’t know about displaying it just when you select the file - could be confusing when setting up a playlist?
