When I use YouTube and search I prefer the InfoWall view. Sadly this seems to be unavailable on Vero V with update to OSMC 2025.03-1.
Before I try and edit an xml file to try and get this view back as it had been on my Vero 4K and I assume earlier OSMC versions, please can somebody tell me if there is a fix. I do not want to go back to Estuary if I can avoid it.

Are you using the YouTube addon from the Kodi repo or a version from the testing repos anxdpanic is offering?
Not much has changed regarding the content type handling really, so we’ll have to figure out what’s causing this.
Do keep in mind though that every view except the default one has to be selected on a per page basis for video addons, if you’re not using the video addons view selection setting in our skin settings 
Hi and thanks for the reply. re: Sam’s question, using iPlayer app I can select all the view types I might want. Not sure about second page as I do not have enough yet to get to a second page but I get really annoyed that the view type is not persistent across pages. This was an issue with previous versions and YT versions.
I am of course using the anxdpanic testing version that Chillbo suggested. No other YT versions work for me because of the bot popup. I am also using the OSMC default skin at present.
Referring to my comment above and Chillbo’s advice re view settings per page. Can I get this fixed once we have sorted out the default skin view type on YT?
Hi and further to my last post I have found the YT view setting problem has gone in that I now have a view type setting which does give me what I wanted. The view now is lightly different between the selected page one and the view on page two but by the time I get to page 4 it has reverted to list but I can then select the view I want.
The behaviour may be because I had changed to Estuary and back to the OSMC default skin to try and find the view type setting… Also having reverted to OSMC default I have been experimenting with different views and this may have confused the system between pages. I shall continue to work on this and report back when I have identified a consistent issue but for now all is good re view type.
I do have an issue with sound but am not sure why but some YT videos have no sound. Never had this problem before but will post separately on this.
You can set a global view type for all video addons via the skin settings. Then all views that contain actual videos from addons will show using the same view without you having to adjust anything.

You’ll then find the setting “Set default view for video add-ons”.
