OSMC wifi passthrough

Hey people, new user here.

I connected the lan port in the RPi to a laptop running Xubuntu in which I assigned a pass through(?). Basically, my laptop receives wifi, it then passes that on to the Lan port, which is connected to my RPi. I mainly did this because the wifi receiver (USB) I have for the RPi isn’t very stable and doesn’t have a good range.

The problem is that I now cannot access OSMC through Yatse or Kore on my phone. It doesn’t find the RPi on the network. Also, the web administration for Transmission is not accessible anymore. :frowning:

I’m guessing with this one.

But you may have to forward ports on your laptop to point to the rpi.

I abandoned the project. Using the crappy USB receiver now
