Every time I try to install an update or SAMBA it fails.
To make matters confusing when I check if I am connected via Wireless it says connection down, but I get weather updates, and connect to something. After a while it says oh yeah you are connected.
Very flakey.

Check your network out. Plenty of info if you search the forums on how to do that.
What system? VERO 1,2,4K Raspberry?
Probably file system corruption.
