Pi 3: Booting errors, then slowness and no disks mounting

Hello all,

With no warning, my Pi 3 started acting erratically last night. First, the video playing started pausing and stuttering. Then I noticed that the command line was slow to respond, even after I stopped my deluge server.

When I tried to reboot, it took a white to get to the blue screen, waited a couple of minutes while trying to start various server processes, then eventually printed a few errors and continued.

When Kodi eventually comes up, everything remains sluggish, and no USB disk mounts take place. The same thing happens with every reboot since.

I’ve uploaded the – redacted – log at this link: https://paste.osmc.tv/fejelopexi

And below is a picture of what the boot screen looks like just before Kodi appears.

I’d appreciate any insights into what may be happening to my device. Please let me know if you have questions.

Thanks in advance.

The SD card is about to die.
Backup what you can now and reinstall OSMC on a good, known card.

Oh wow. Thanks a lot for the warning! I will proceed to back up immediately.

Thank you again.

You’re welcome. The system is sluggish because the MMC driver is repeatedly experiencing timeouts when accessing the SD card (causing the system to hang).

Makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
