Pi2 - Possibly frames skipped when start a video reproduction

I have noticied this little issue on my currently setup of OSMC on a Pi2 whit latest youtube addons 5.5.0-alpha7 (but i have noticied also whit other version)…

I can give you this video test link on youtube:

How to reproduce the issue:
1- I tryed to open this video whit DASH disabled (whit dash enabled the current 2.0.18 of inputstream.adaptive it’s bugged… need to update to recently 2.1.6)
2- Pause the reproduction and step back to reach the counter at 00:00

At this point on TV you see the counter it’s not at 00:00 but there’s 00:04 and the frames count it’s not showing 0000.

Also you can test this video on same channel:

  1. Open video and pause the reproduction
  2. I tryed to step back to 00:00 and on my TV i see the counter of frames not at 0 but i see report value of 7

This is a video at 120FPS (instead the previous it’s at 60FPS) and there’s the first 6 frames it’s by skipped away ? it may be that this happens ?

I have also tryed whit a “normal” video… for example i have opened this italian video:

At very starts you can listen a phrase says “La sentite la musica ?”.
I have open this on my Pi2 and the phrase can be listened like as cutted as first words… for example i can only listen “… sentite la musica?”, the words “La” it’s somethigs like cutted aways… it’s parts of frames skipped on above test video ??

Currently this little troubles i reported only on youtube addons… i don’t know if this appends also when try to reproduce a video from a shared network or from a usb devices connected on pi2…

There’s so other members can make this test and report some other feedback whit same video for know if it’s a my isolated problems ? Thanks in advance…

You should probably take this up with the Youtube add-on developers.

I can’t get the last one to rewind to 0:0 on YouTube - always starts at ‘la musica’.

I don’t thinks it’s an youtube addons… i don’t have tryed to download the video test frames count and tryed to reproduce from an usb device but if it’s need i can try tomorrow…

The last one (the italian video) it’s an example… try the video frames test… step back to 00:00 whit reproduction in pause. You can see the 00 frames on tv ? Also on seconds tv…

If yes it’s possibly it’s my isolated problems created by some configuration on my setup ? I don’t have idea

I have some addictional feedback about this little trouble… i have download the video youtube video on my pc… and i have copyed that on a usb devices connected on my Pi2 setup.

I have tryed to reproduce from osmc… pause the reproduction and step back to time 00:00 and see what’s appened:

On TV i can’t see the frames counter at 0… but it’s start at 5…
When i look this same video instead from yuotube link i see the counter at 7…

OH MY GOD… at this point it’s not a youtube addons… it’s possibly it’s a my actually configuration make this appened ?

How i can check in all my preferences of kodi setup ??
