Like to use the Picture Slideshow Screesaver when playing music (pulling favorite photos of my NAS), however downside of using Screensaver for this is when not using the Pi, the screensaver is still running 24/7 pulling photos, prevent NAS spinning down etc.
Is there any way round this (like the trasitions and simplicity of the Sceensaver addon rather than having to navigate to the relevant photo folder and invoke a slideshow) so that the screensaver kicks in after setting music playing and when music finishes, screensaver stops? Or perhaps map remote button to start the “preview” function of the screensaver without actually enabling it?
Any help or ideas much appreciated!
