Play at a slower speed

Hi,
I’m trying to set up OSMC on a Raspberry Pi B so it will play video’s at a slower speed for my father in law. Normal speed is too fast for him, he’s used to watching DVD’s on his DVD player at 0.9 speed.
I’ve tried setting up VLC as external player, but since there’s no x window it doesn’t do much :wink:

Does anyone know how I can adjust the playback speed? Or is there some kind of add-on to get the job done?

Changing playback speed has been a long requested kodi feature:

The more common request is playing faster, but playing slower is just a variation on that.
OSMC can only do what is supported by kodi, so you are best off posting on the kodi feature request thread.
