Hi there
I have some files encoded in H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1), that play nicely enough on opening, but as soon as I try to search, fast forward, rewind etc., it freezes. Sometimes it then just closes the video, and other times it freezes the system completely until I reboot.
Had the same problem on my RPI3 with OSMC. Thought it was just a hardware issue, but the same problem appears on my brand new Vero 4K (freshly installed).
What gives?
