Raspberry Pi B+ running latest OSMC (as of today), with wired ethernet connection
Just wanted to let people know that I was taking some home videos using my camera which can produce 60p (frames) or 24p (frames) at a rate of 50 Mbps using the XAVC-S codec (H264 5.2 profile). During the streaming I could see the video fluctuating in the mid 40s Mbps on average.
During playback it would pause every now and then when playing 60p and 24p while my TV is set at 60 frames refresh rate. However, when I played the 24p, and changed the refresh rate of my TV to 24p, matching the video frame rate, it played flawlessly! Looked almost like a documentary on TV.
It’s amazing how much the Pi and OSMC can do!
