Playing dvd`s on alpha 3?

hello there,

i’ ve download the alpha 3 version for raspberry pi. The dvd structure wil not work. what dit i wrong?

Can you provide a log or explain how you tried to play the DVD?

Also – do you have the MPEG2 codec license installed?

hi Sam,

the mpeg2 codec is installed.

the dvd video ts file is on a server. In the latest version of rapsbmc it works fine. i select the video_ts.ifo file and the dvd starts. In alpha 3 i select the file and it looks like it wil start up but then notting happens and it returns to the video_ts folder.

I keep seeing timeouts in your log. Are you using a WiFi connection?

Please try to play the DVD from something else than UPnP.
I have a feeling that UPnP and DVD structure can be problematic, but please rule it out first. I have seen such reports on the Kodi forum, but on other platforms.

If this is indeed the issue you should report it at the Kodi forum.

made an smb link and everything works just fine. i think there`s a bug in kodi for UPnp.
