You can’t copy a module from one device to another (kernel version) As @dillthedog says – that’d be a module mismatch.

I maintain optimised drivers for a series of Realtek devices, but RTL8188EU isn’t one of them. I can definitely get a driver backported to the Vero 4K / 4K + kernel; but I can guarantee now that performance will be worse than the internal adapter.

I think I’ll solve the issue with ethernet over power adapters. The issue (I think) weak signal. So anything with 4dbi antenna would be better. In this case my Realtek device :grin:. No worries Sam. And thank you again for the great support. It helps me understand Linux better.
