Problem instaling widevine

Hi,

can someone help me out?

I’m using Retrospect on my new fresh out the box Vero V, and when I select Live TV, I get a message indicating that I need to install Widevine.(as it did on my 4k) It appears to download and seems to install, but then I receive the message: “Playback failed, one or more items could not be played.” It seems that Widevine is not being installed.

I cannot install Widevine using InputStream Helper either. it does the same routine.

info says widevin version (Not Foud), installed on Never.

Best regards,

Niko

Hi Niko

It’s been a while since I installed the official Widevine add-on.
Can you upload a log so I can check why the installation doesn’t work?

What specific error comes up?

Sam

are the other / better alternatives for the official widevine?

Maybe the ARM64 module has been downloaded instead of the ARMHF version?
You could check which library has been installed.

i’ve got no clue.. this is beyond my understanding. But the problem resolved itself. I tried again yesterday, and it was installed correctly.

Glad to hear this. I’ll get in touch with the add-on maintainer and see if I can get an understanding of what has happened here.
