When I do “Get Add-on” nothing happens - any one has this problem?
More clue to my ongoing problem - the date and time are showing 7PM 1969 - how do I get the time to update? Perhaps this is the reason for Kodi Add-on not showing??
If the date and time are not updating you don’t have a working internet connection.
Are you using Ethernet or Wifi ?
SOLVED - Thanks. All well now - problem was that the Ethernet router was for some reason not giving the Rpi2 an internet connection although it was connected to the LAN and Wi-Fi based remote was working fine. Wish the Kodi first screen would flag a “No Connection” alert just as it does for update notifications.
