Problems with TV (some) series

I am having an issue with some TV series, with some the Series description is found but nothing for the episodes and no episodes are listed for the series, this means that the only way I can access the episodes is in file mode.

For other series both serries and episodes are found and I can play the episodes via the TV shows option. The settings under scan for new content seem the same.

This one works OK

An episode name
Miss.Scarlet.and.the.Duke.S03E01.720p.AMZN.WEBRip.x264-GalaxyTV

Series name on HDD
outlander
An episode name
Outlander.S07E01.A.Life.Well.Lost.720p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.H.264-NTb

Any ideas ?

You could try renaming the folder Outlander is in to “Outlander (2014)” or make a text file in the Outlander folder named “tvshow.nfo” making sure you don’t accidently make a file called “tvshow.nfo.txt” instead, and assuming your using TMDB as the scraper put in that file…

by itself, nothing else. Then go to Outlander in your Kodi library then info, then refresh for all episodes and do not choose the option to ignore local data.
