I am trying to connect to pureVPN on my OSMC using the pureVPN kodi addon.
I have spent all morning with tech-support and they cannot figure out what’s wrong.
All I get is “Something unexpected happened”
Anyone successfully tried pureVPN on their OSMC ?
also, where is the /etc/ folder located ?

On the latest version of OSMC openvpn is included so the Addon should work
You would need to check log files, see this thread

There is also the zomboided Vpn manager, handles all the config for you. Works with many Vpns including purevpn

Well you could ask pureVPN for help if you paid them 
Otherwise enable debug logging and check the logs. Or upload the logs and ask for help.
