Hi,

Im just wondering why my OSMC/VERO 4K+ are trying to connect to the mirrorservice.org domain?

The debian updates for the OS are mirrored there as well as Kodi.

ok, so i need to allow it or will it find the updates elsewhere?

You need to allow it to get updates.

The mirror system is load balanced and weighted based on ASN. So updates will be deferred to a number of servers.
