Question about LPCM decoding

I am interested in a Vero 4k+. Before I would like to clarify still one question.
I have a nanoAVR with Dirac that can only handle HDMI audio in LPCM format. According to the information here in the forum the Vero 4k+ is able to decode the HDMI audio output as LPCM. So my question is whether the Vero 4k+ is capable of decoding any audio stream (video or music) to the corresponding LPCM2.0, LPCM5.1 or LPCM7.1 format as HDMI audio output. This means that for example Dolby Digital 6ch will be decoded by the Vero 4k+ into the corresponding LPCM5.1 format and not into a multichannel LPCM stereo upmix.
Probably the question is banal, but after my previous experiences with other devices I would like to be sure before.
Thanks.

Yes, LPCM up to 7.1 is no problem.
Just set the number of channels accordingly and leave all unsupported passthrough formats off.

That’s exactly what I wanted to know. This LPCM decoding problem of the sources for the nanoAVR was really annoying. Thanks for your quick reply.
