HDMI Quick Media Switching (QMS) is a feature that prevents the screen from needing to black out when changing refresh rates using the Variable Refresh Rate ability on new TVs. Looks like it requires HDMI 2.1a so might not work on currently shipping Vero’s but would be an awesome feature for a future upgrade.
Yes it would be nice and yes it’s not possible on vero 4k.
