Quick-search feature like WindowsSearch, Apple Spotlight etc

Hi,

I´m wondering that there is no Quick-Search feature in kodi/xbmc like nearly every OS has. I mean the Windows Startmenu search (Win+#start typing#) or Apple spotlight (MacOS/iOS) or Ubuntu Unity Search. Type a word and get a list of results sorted by type (Audio/Video/Favorites/Addons etc)

For users with a keyboard, it would enormously speed up the usage.

So maybe it already exists as a addon, but I can´t find it. Or do I have to make a feature request?

This is a Kodi issue or a specific Kodi function and as such you should look at addressing the issue there.
