System completely freezes often, after opening a new file, displays images but non-responsive necessitating pulling of the power. Anything in the logs? Was 2 yesterday and 1 today.

Unfortunately I can’t access the logs.
I’d suggest rebooting and if you can reproduce the problem often as described, you should be able to get a small log that can be uploaded to My OSMC (small enough)
