Raspberry Kodi v19 update

Hi, contemplating the v19 update but still trying to fully understand the ramifications.

My understanding is RPi2/3 lose VC-1 & MPEG2 hardware acceleration + deinterlacing. Is that the only downside ?

For Rpi4 also loses VC-1 & MPEG2 but gains HEVC hardware acceleration.

So does RPi2/3/4 still retain MPEG4 & H.264 hardware acceleration ?

Well as there never was a OSMC release of Kodi 18 this is not correct. But yes the Pi4 has HVEC hardware acceleration.
For VC1 and MPEG2 they will be software decoded on Pi4 but it is powerful enough to do so.
