If I’m running OSMC along with Kodi on my raspberry pi 1…
Can I simply switch out the micro SD card and put it in the Raspberry 2?
or is there a different version of OSMC for each the older Pi and the newer one?

Unfortunately not, but we’ve made it quick and easy to back up the most common things (Head to My OSMC -> Backup)
