Raspberry Pi 3 Adding a new TV Series Storage HD

This might just be a senior moment because I am. I’ve had to add a second Passport Series HD to my OSMC Pi 3B+ configuration. I named the hard drive via Windows “Series 2” attached it to my laptop PC and loaded a few (3) series onto it. All good on the Windows PC. Added this HD to my Pi 3B+ fed by a external USB powered hub and it added an unknown series episode and none of the ones loaded previously. “File Manager” shows the series okay. I guess the question is the naming of the the new HD as “Series 2”.
Any Ideas??

So you added this as an additional source and configured a scraper to what exact file path using which scraper settings? The drive name likely wouldn’t cause an issue but if you had somehow configured your file paths/scraper such that Kodi was thinking the you only had one series on there with the name of “Series 2” that might explain it. Hard to say with no logs and limited info to go off of. Best practice would be to put a folder on the root of the drive called “Series 2” and then configure your source and scraper to /media/[whatever_the_mount_is_called]/Series 2 and make sure that you DO NOT check the boxes for “selected folder contains a single TV show” or “exclude path from library updates”.

Thanks for your input. Told ya I was having a senior moment and you proved it. Followed your instructions with one change. I’m thinking that Kodi maybe doesn’t enjoy the root directory named as same as the source drive (J:\My Passport Series 2\ Series 2). Once I renamed the root to “Series 2” then rescanned all seemed to be fine. I have’t had to add an additional HD drive for quite some time. This should last for some time. Again thanks. Problem solved.
