Is it possible to do the above, ie if I added a jpg for album art, or a new album to a lib, can I use the Chorus web i/face just to scan that album again, rather than full scan?

Unfortunately I am not that familiar with the Chorus web interface. Can’t you use the built in remote (if you can see the interface) to re-scan the item?
sorry, not sure what you mean by “built-in remote”? I don’t normally have my Vero connected to a screen, usually just use the Chorus web browser or the app on my Iphone for control.
This is probably something Kore or Yatse could do.
