Reboot Vero 4k+ after 1 hour

Hi,

For a few months now the player gets every time after around 1 hour stuck and it has to reboot then. When I stream a movie the player gets jammed after an half hour. The first problem is that I can’t look decent to a program, the second is that I have to reboot it by pulling the cable out of the device.

I’m not very good with computers and stuff so I first asked for some help in my neigbourhood. Everything is updated and I have the newest kodi player. It doesn’t matter if I watch a 4k movie or 720p, it also doesn’t matter if I watch a movie from a hard drive or stream. What can I do? When it works the player is great, but it frustrates also many times…

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
